Unbelievable view. 10 min walk into town, and a lovely restaurant on site. So tranquil and peaceful, and the staff were so kind - they let us transfer money in exchange for cash because theres no ATMs in town. I can’t imagine a better place to stay. Theres always someone around to build a fire for you, too!

What a beautiful spot. Rustic cabins with a fireplace and amazing views of the valley. You're supposed to leave your keys with the front desk when you leave the hotel, which is an odd rule and the breakfast is not good. In addition, the wireless internet isn't free for guests, but that seems to be consistent for the businesses in the town.

Highlight; Wonderful staff very attentive and helpful / Fire place / porch with chairs and view to nature - lots of hummingbirds / Grounds were beautiful / Continental breakfast included / Location - walkable to the little town and restaurant that we ordered some good vegetarian food from to eat on our cabin! Parking on site / Strong Hot shower Lowlight; super loud like concert live music from a private party in the restaurant next door from the cabins from 7pm-11:30pm - ask them if there is a music event scheduled next door before you book! If so plan something in town during that evening time! It was non stop and despite trying to appreciate it it was just so so loud and we couldn’t really go there to have fun with it!

My wife and I spent two nights and it was wonderful. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fires lit each evening and one morning at 5am. Very nice continental breakfast that was included. View outstanding especially from cabana 3. Grounds are beautiful and well maintained.

One of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. The staff is very attentive. The views are incredible. The walkways might be a bit hard for some people. But that is to be expected for the location. I highly recommend this place. I wish I could have spent a few days.

The pros: the cabins with fireplace and beautiful view. Peaceful setting. Cons: unfriendly/helpful staff. Hot water in the shower lasted about a minute. While this is a nice mountain spot, the road being blocked by the locals made the area feel very unwelcoming.

Prices as of November 2022. All levels come with private bathroom, breakfast and TV: -Small cabin $1200 pesos per night 2 persons max, fireplace. -Rooms $800 pesos per night 2 persons max (no fireplace). -Double cabin $1600 pesos per night 4 persons max, fireplace. -Triple cabin $1600 pesos per night 4 people max, fireplace. I have stayed in both the room and the small cabin. The main difference is that the room is basically a large cabin subdivided in 3 rooms. The walls are paper thin. If someone put a key on a table, you can hear it. There is no sound insulation at all. Even at low season, they get good occupation, so you are likely to have neighbors. There's no heat in the rooms either, so having the chimney is a plus. Good water pressure and hot water, which is not a given in SJP. In general, the place is really nice. Despite what they say in the guidebooks, the walk to town is not very pleasant, since you walk around the main road , there's no light, and you share that road with trucks and cars. Still a good place to stay/value.

Affordable, clean, small room with a great view and beautiful gardens. We always stay here with our cat. They do not accept cards. Cash only. The price includes good breakfast.

We camped in our car in their parking lot. The reception charged $50p /night. This only includes use of the bathrooms at the reception which are very very nice! Or if you eat at the restaurant, and ask them to park overnight they will allow you for free but the restaurant bathrooms are not as nice. WiFi is not included. The parking lot is big but not flat so we had to use extra bricks laying around to level our vehicle. The cheapest room for 1-2 people, 1 double bed, is $400p but a pet costs another $100p /night. This includes wifi and Continental breakfast.

The cabins are clean and well maintained, and a beautiful view from here. The fireplace is a bonus on cold nights. Breakfast is good and now they also have internet connetion here! Have staid here many times over the last 8 years and it has never been any issues and we keep coming back. This place is highly recommended to stay at.
